Sascha: Well , we met Tokio Hotel and we were able to do a sensational interview for you

Julia : Sensational

Sascha: For six minutes you have to watch now...they will tell you superduper stuff..they will clarify many rumors and talk about their new album...which by the way is number one in Germany

Julia : YEAH.....

Sascha: Watch the interview...you will have a lot of fun...don't be surprised...Bill still has his old harido..unfortunatly we needed too much time to cut it....( the video)

Julia: Feel bravo...kiss, kiss, kiss

Sascha: Here is Tokio Hotel with Humanoid and Automatisch....

Julia: Hush...

Bill: For us it doesn't feel like a comeback..we have been there all the time....we worked a lot...have been in the studio...it wasn't like we have been on vaction...to be honest actually not at all.....yes..from that point...( strange sound)...from that point.....it doesn't feel like coming back...it feels more like...just simply sing again with a new album...

Tom: Yes...to go on....

Bill: We have also recorded through internet and that is pretty cool...because i am in the studio in hamburg and can hear my producer from L.A. in my headphones....that is wicked...

Tom: Yes ...awesome

Bill: ...what is possible...and what options you have...from that side..we just tried out a lot...it was pretty cool...and we love to be in LA..but Germany...and that is no say-so.....it is in any case definitely our home...

Sascha: Are you still often in Magdeburg and Loitsche or is it over and gone?

Bill:..Well...the two of them...yes

Georg: Yes...regualry

Bill: The two of them yes...

Tom: They....

Georg: Actually always

Bill: Well, they also live there..Tom and I do not...we are almost never there..I have in some way...the other day we have been there because of somebody's birthday...i was there....and after a long time i saw it again...

Question: Tom and Chantelle...What is going on there?

Tom: In any way...she is an extremly nice girl..i have to say....but otherwise there is not so much going on...to be honest....it is because of the time...and you know me ..i am not that kind of guy who wastes his time on a relationship...

Sascha: It didn't changed?

Tom: What? No...it didn't changed...although..i have to say ...i have changed a bit my mind when it comes to this whole being in love stuff ..i disbelieved at all that it could work out..but now..i believe that in anway it could work out...at least i hope so...

Sascha: How is that?

Tom: I would be happy..if...

Bill: Because of .....Me...

Tom: Anyhow i would be happy to fall truely in love...

Bill: Because of me he is more mature...

Sascha: Really?...

Tom: Yes..but...

Bill: Now he knows to appreciate such things....i am talking about it since i have been thirteen

Sascha: How did you do that?

Bill: Over the time...he simply learns it from me by watching...

Tom: No..it is.....not true

Bill: He simply knows now ..what i have already knew at the age of fifteen and before...he is realizing it slowly...

Tom: Nobody is talking about the .....

Bill: You shouldn't waste your time with some flippancy and beside-stories....

Tom: Ok..He's right...

Bill: ..but to spend your few time with people who are truely important for you..

Tom: He's right....but this doesn't shut it off to have some fun in your life with different girls from to time ....it doesn't shut it off....but basically it would be nice, if i would once fall in love......i would be happy about it...although it could be negative..because i don't have time for it...to be honest...to fall in love or to start a serious realtionship...

Bill: It was cool to get to know Jay Z...

Tom: Jay Z was absolutly cool

Sascha: How has he been to you?

Bill: Totally nice...he is a very laid-back guy......it was a nice evening...we had dinner together... a drink together and so on......it was nice...yes...actually everything was nice...we havn't gained at all negative expierences with somebody

Sascha: How did you get along with Miley? You did get to know her als well....

Bill: Oh...She was ...she was very nice...We have worked with her a bit at the VMA's and she is a true cherfull person. In anyway a clever girl...she totaly raises you up if you are just getting tired...

Question: Isn't Georg afraid, that a paparrazi is bushwacking his new girlfriend?

Tom: Oh...we are extremly afraid of paparrazi's ....

Georg: You have to keep an eye on it...of course...you have to be very careful to which places you want to go...but...you can not hide for the rest of you life..this is not possible...I simply hope that people accept the fact that SHE doesn't want to be in the spotlight....

Bill:Well...to this...we can only say again...we don't want to dumbstruck anybody....especialy not our German Fans....and there is no reason for it... to be angry in someway....i can only say it over and over again...especialy..it is pointless..why should they spoil their time which they.....we spend with them....because somebody is angry about something...we simply try to do it...to be there for all fans...we are in every county...we are in Germany...we recorded again the album in german..and we will contuine with this...therefore...there is truely no reason to be angry..We live in Germany...our families are here...We know it...and we will never forget it...and this is not only talking...our carrier started in Germany...and for this we are so thankful..every day..and we will never forget it....no matter what will happen...not matter in which country we will be succesful...we will always go back to Germany...because here are our roots...

Bill: There are many things in line for Germany

Tom: We will truely do a lot in Germany...yes

Bill: I have done again the second part from Arthur and the minimoys...and for example the premier is in Germany...the worldpremier is in Germany....yes...a lot of stuff

Tom: yes...a lot of TV-Shows

Bill: We will do a lot...yes... TV-Shows...Award-shows..and so on...we are back again...

MTV Day en Grèce + TH TV Nokia

Interview on EXTRA Xfactor

Th are XF guests.

1st guy: Can I have a question? He's coming from a contest... like a talent show...

7 years ago he went to this contest after losing a bet about a girl, but he already had his band, he got into the contest only because of the lost bet. He wasn't interested in the contest, he didn't went to be a solo-artist he prefered playing with his band.

2nd guy: But how do they make their songs, who writes them?

Since they were seven years old the two of them (the twins) started writing songs. Nowadays they write them with their producers...

1st girl: What do you like? (as in music I guess)

Right now they don't have time to listen to music
Tom: *pointing at Georg* He likes David Hasselhoff!
Dreadguy starts singing to a David Hasselhoff's song.
Bill: Kings of Leon, Aerosmith, The Gossip...
(Lol, the translator got confused and almost said Sex Pistols XD)

TH asks who is the favorite in the show?
A girl: it depends, it's different from week to week, in base of what song they are performing...

Bill: it works like that in Germany too, but at the end everyone gets in a fight (I guess Bill is referencing to DSDS?)
They say they don't fight and Bill is like "Nein?O.o"

Tom: who of the boys had most female fans?

Dreadguy: *pointing at Damiano* adult women likes him.

2nd girl: what do they think about this kind of show?

A talent show is a way to breakthrough. He says he understands the concept, but they were lucky because they found each other. He likes this concept more (as a group put together by their own choice), nowadays to make music and get somewhere you have to pass over something like this just to have a chance to become famous

Curly boy: What have they done? How do they get so much success?

They were lucky. He says one of the producers found them in their village. They've made the first album. Tom mentions they have changed some producers to find the ones that worked the best with them and the big success came during the summer break.

Bill&Tom: who's the favorite for winning the show so far?

They say they don't know.

Bill: Who is a band of you?

They points at the various groups (there are only two more group).
The girl-group are all sisters. Someone mentions the word twins.

Band: What are you performing tonight?
The guys says what they are performing.

Who plays any struments?
A girl plays violins, someone says drums.

Bill: Any of you have a super-interesting question for us?

Dreadguy: What do you want to say in your songs?

They don't have a specified message, but they want to entretain people through the music and have fun. Make them happy with their song. There's not just one big message.

Chanson bonus - Down On You

MTV Home - partie 1 - partie 2 - partie 3

part 1 translation from the youtube link from musikmakerfaker:

Klaas: Back from America, here they are: Tokio Hotel!
(Hellos and taking seats)

Joko: Sit over there so you can be next to Klaas... If you want to...

Klaas:; Hello, nice to have you here.
Bill: Hello
Klaas: Are you busy at the moment?
Bill: Yeah, we were in a polace next to this so we thought, we should come along
Klaas: Someones is home here everytime, we don´t have so much work, on hour of live show the rest is hanging arround...
Bill: Cool
Klaas: We started with Tokio Hotel a moment ago, getting some informations and talking to Scooter... So did you do drugs already today?
Bill: Not yet...
Tom: No
Bill: Today we are getting along without
Klaas: I read it in the newspaper yesterday, thats why I mentioned it
Bill: I don´t know how this happend... Someone just...
Joko: layed it in to your mouth , fits perfectly to the theme
Klaas: Why did you stop doing drugs? Because you can´t get them in the USA so easy?
Bill: No... we grew up in a small village... I ask myself how people can say there are some who never drunk in the years before getting 15 ...
Klaas: It isn´t fair with you: W hen you got famous here you were under 18 and weren´t allowed to drink and now you are older and you are in the USA were you aren´t allowed under 21...
Bill: Yes, you´re right that´s not so easy for us. We are always against the law...
Tom: We are rebels
Georg: I can´t support this
Bill: We are so crazy
Klaas: We take a look at your new music video, wich is released in two different versions. But the video is the same, or are there different cuts?
Bill: It´s nearly the same.
Klaas: So we take a look, "Automatisch" is the SAong called in german, and that´s the video:

(Automatic video)

Klaas: That was "Automatic". You guys will stay here for a while, because I want to know some exclusiv details of Karl Lagerfelds privacy, for sure.
Bill: OK

***

part 3 trans from musikmakerfaker on youtube:

Klaas: welcome back everyone... Still with us: Tokio Hotel... the only real band in... yes, hour isn´t big enough
Joko: Of the world
Klaas: World! Best band in the world... whats about jealousy... does it grow with getting more famous?
Bill: Yes, you can notice it... sometimes I read the comments under articels and that´s why Tom and me did the video in the car [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh4DanKXhj4 ] .
Joko: One like Paris Hilton did? I don´t know it yet ;-)
Klaas: No, one where they tell everything ever told about them about themselves
Bill: Now its, if I say something I know what they people will say abot it
Tom: Actually, it was in the band, Georg was so jealous on me because I had all the girls and he lost his cherry just two months ago ;-)
Bill: He´s so proud of it. We had a deal that one of us would say it while this show so everyone knows ;-)
Tom: So here it is for everyone: Georg lost his virginity two months ago;-)
Klaas: And now it flows

[laughs]
[Klaas trys to speak]
Joko: Klaas is so under the level...
Usually I don´t understand Jokos jokes a while after he did them... know I don´t notice my own ;-) But I got a nice diction...
Joko: Yeah you found good words for "bugging"
klaas: So you make everyjoke people can tell about you about yourselves... does it mean you [Gustav] will hit yourselves with a bottle next time?
Gustav: That´s right!
Klaas: What happend?
Gustav: What you could read in newspapers...
Bill: I think he just drunk too much
Gustav: Actually, the other guys hit me...
Tom: He spoke against me, and i beat him
Joko: When there is trouble, who is blamed?
Georg: Not Bill
Tom: That´s because noone knows Bill ;-)
Joko: What?
Bill: That´s the point, if we go out with Georg and Gustav its so annoying, but if Tom and me go out alone we are so relaxed, can eat icecream or whatever
Klaas: Did you ever met the brothers of Oasis? [ Because of trouble and fighting]
Tom: I had the same idea
Klaas: You talked about this too, you said Gustav and Georg, Gregor and Günther you named them , noone knows them. Is that someting you don´t like or do you think its great?
Georg: I tottally like it...
Tom + Bill: Georch...
Gustav: Me too...
Bill: Actually their names are Wolfgang and Hagen...
Tom: Georch
Gustav: Or Moritz and...
Georg: Max
Everyone: Klaus...
klaas: Klaus, thats me...When you release a record, Humanoid [few times, different languages], you can name it how you want to...
Bill: Someone told it Humanunoid...
Everyone: Italian people...
Joko: Guess he was dyslexic ;-)
Klaas: Or italian... Wich feeling is worse... Not being known and you can´t say if someone will like your music or the pressure of being already famous?
Bill: Neither the first nor the other... You do this because you wnat the others to hear it... You record is because you want the paople to hear and see it and being happy with it. But there is a breat pressure for sure...
Klaas: We are happy because you came here. Thanks for that... Now you have to go to big cities like Braunschweig...
Bill: Klein-Zwickau ;-)
[German towns, not as huge as Berlin]
Everyone: Bye Bye

Extrait du reportage RTL Punkt

In their younger years, Tokio Hotel have already expierenced a lot more than others in their entire life. They are in the spotlight since the age of 15. Always a farouche pose and extremly cool....Now the twins are 20 years old and their words a surprisingly mature and thoughtfully when they talked about their beginning as a popstar.

Tom: At that time we extremly screwed up ...That was the time where you were just hanging out..someone smoked a joint..someone were drinking..all this stuff....At that time you were just hanging out and tried to be high in some way.

Bill: Drugs and alcohol were...you never thought about it.....i think ...their is already nobody who did not tried it out......

From the beginning the twins had been on VIP-parties and skipped nothing...and of course the headlines were there...

Tom: That was exactly the time as i thought...awesome i am a Rockstar....i take completly advantage of it

Bill: As the negative headlines started and the discussion began about our age, parties and alcohol..that was the first time that i realized..oh there is another side.....how could i explain it to my grandfather

Tom: Next day you have to go to a familycelebration and there are such headlines in the newspaper about you...he drank hard drinks...some girls had been in his hotelroom..and so on....

Bill: At that time....i have to say...Tom had an extreme wastage of girls....

Tom: Every day there was another girl in my room

But in the case of love it was never serious. In 100% Tokio Hotel on october 16th on RTL a very thoughtfully Bill explain why....

Bill: If i would fall in love now...in my situation ...it would be anyway like a lottery winning...i could never built up a relationship without somebody notice it..i had to let somebody know...and this girl would be probably escorted to my bedroom....

It became very clear which prize they have to pay for their fame...

Bill: We have a property with a garden...it is fenced ...there is a high fence..you can look no further than up to the fence..and otherwise we drive around with cars with black windows...you are not able to go on the street...

Today is the release of their new album Humanoid..and the freedom of Tokio hotel is going to be more less..but now they handle it a bit different ....more mature...

VIVA Live - Partie 1 - Partie 2

Translation Part 1:

Collien: Yeah, they're just coming in, so maybe you'll get the chance to pose your question yourself, if I'm nice. Here they are: Tokio Hotel! Welcome!
Wait a sec. I have something for you:
Ge: I have to... ?!
C: You have to draw lots. There's a funny activity for you to do hidden in there - let's see right away which one. Don't settle down yet - maybe you'll have to get up right away again.
T: Know what I like? That you heeded our wishes: Cause the first thing we said was that...
C: ...you don't wanna do an activity?
T: Nah - that we wanted to have a backrest here in the studio!
C: Just for you we refurbished the studio!
B: Seriously, eh?
C: Seriously . Cause we were wondering: You weren't here for two years, and we were thinking: What's the problem? Probably...
B: ...it's the couch. Yeah.
C: ...because we don't have a backrest.
B: Exactly. And actually, that was the reason.
T: Definitely.
C: So that was the reason why you weren't here for two years, that we didn't have a backrest?
B: No, actually we worked really long with album...
Ge: Can we change that one...
B: What, did you already look inside? Ok, so change it.
C: Ok, just because it's you...
B: Now it's probably something even worse.
C: But no changing anymore.
B: Take a peek again...
C: There's no jackpot in there.
C: Ok, is it something nice? Activity!
B: Aww, that sounds great!
C: Which activity... is written on my card: Usually...
B: I won't do the activity!
T&Gu: Me neither!
[That's apparently the old TH rule: Whoever shouts first, gets to choose. Old habits die hard ]
C: ...it's a bit embarrassing.
T: (?) already did that. I think you forgot that.
C: We need four people for the activity.
B: Aw, bummer.
C: Sing and dance YMCA!
Ge: That's cheating: Cause in the bowl, it also said dance...
B: The first bowl also said dance? Ok, but you have to show me... I don't even know how it works... All of you have to do it! Huh?? What are you doing?
B: Is it the one with the (?)
C: Now, right now it comes...
C: Now, not yet... we need the chorus!
*Tom sneakily checks Georg's assumption that the bowls all say the same thing*
B: THAT WAS AWESOME!! *runs*
C: Ok, maybe we do another activity?
Ge: They all say the same!
T: They all say: Sing, dance, sing or activity.
C: Exactly: We have four categories: Sing, dance, activity or questions.
Ge: Or all together.
C: Fine, then we'll take the questions, when you don't want to dance!
Right. Question #1: Have you ever broken the law? Everybody has to answer!
B: Yes.
C: You too!
Gu: No. Never ever.
Ge: Does speeding count? A speeding ticket?
C: Yeah, that counts.
Ge: Ok, then yes.
C: The yes... nothing else?
T: We drank alcohol too early, I think.
C: Yeah, I heard that! You are really bad guys! What did I hear...
T: Hark who's talking! I still remember the last Echo aftershow party!
Ge: Oh yeah... ohohoh...
T: I wouldn't go into this topic if I were you .
C: But I was grown-up. With 13 you alread did *reads* hardcore binging, smoking weed" ...and I don't even wanna know what else YOU did.
B: Is that from some newspaper??
C: Yeah, you said that!
B: oO
C: Did you do a hardcore smoking session before that interview, and then...
B: ...told just nonsense?! And we can't even remember it.
T: But I guess that was the biggest law breach: That I was drinking alcohol at 15, and that was completely against the law and ...*sigh* that was a hard time.
C: It was a hard time. But it's actually true? All four of you, you already have been hardcore weed smokers?
[Note that Bill is talking over Collien here, so I'm not sure he (or the others) got that last part about weed?!]
B: But I don't think it's that exceptional: I'm actually surprised that everybody's going: "What? Drinking alcohol at 15?" Frankly, I don't know anybody who hasn't done it! Because, I have to say: We didn't grow up in a city. It just was a village. And there's nothing. And so you start screwing around. That's not to say that it's good... but that's how it was.
C: Let's ask around... Who here already at 13 did hardcore drinking, smoking weed and other stuff...
B: No! I'm just talking about alcohol now! Who has been drinking alcohol before 15? Yeah, right... sure... All fingers go up... shyly...
C: Yeah, just like this... But we've established: You aren't the exception with that. Now we take a look at your first single, and since we are in Germany here [and since lots of people from the German fanclub wrote angry emails ], we of course do it in German: Here's Automatisch!
C: Automatisch from TH! The video definitely looks very expensive. How much did it cost?
B: Oh...oh... I'd say, we probably won't earn any money the whole first year with this album... after that video...
C: You have to get the cost back...
B: We have to break even first...
C: But you realease internationally, so you should get it back quickly.
B: Hopefully.
C: What does something like that cost, approximately?
B: The video? Well, several sports cars, definitely.
C: I estimate 800,000?
B: *snort* Nah, not quite that much...
C: 7? 6? 5?
B: But it definitely was the most elaborate.
C: It was expensive.
B: Yeah.
C: Definitely a very elaborate clip, but you still didn't go to #1! We all expected you to go to 1 at once, instead #5, and Rammstein went to 1. Should you have made a porno?
B/T: Absolutely.
B: We have already decided that we'll just strip next time. But somehow, nobody wants to see that.
C: Or you'll just keep the camera rolling after the concerts, at the things you [Tom] do all the time anyway?
T: Yeah, we have already enough material from that... We'd just have to cut it right.
C: Maybe that would get you #1. To cut in some of these videos... Are you disappointed that you didn't make #1?
B: No, I mean, it's not like you always expect it to got to #1...
C: ...I do!
B: Yeah, it's usually everybody else. I think we ourselves not. I mean, Germany is one of the last countries where you still can buy singles. In other countries you don't have it any more, only albums. And you see more and more that that's much more important, an album.
T: And in Germany, too, this tradition to buy a CD is coming out of fashion. Now you have downloads, and that also counts for the charts... and I'm absolutely not a friend of that.
C: So, the album will definitely go to 1?
B: *testily* We don't know.
T: I don't know either.
Ge: when you bought one today...?
T: Exactly...
C: I thought you'll give me one?
B: You get one if you buy one.
C: But then I have two?!
T: As you said: Our video was so expensive, we can't give albums away.
C: But there's one standing around. I'll just take that.
B: Is there a CD in it?
T: There's no CD in it, it's a dummy.
C: Is it? Shit. Oh well, then I'll have to buy it.
And you two haven't said anything so far... that's really unusual...
T: It is, isn't it?
Ge: I'm talking all the time... you just don't listen...
C: Doesn't that bother you a bit, that you're always in the back at bit?
Ge: No, why?
Gu: No.
T: Whoa. You said that. Being in the background...
Ge: ... a low blow...
C: In the video, you're also seen much less than the other two here.
Ge: *sigh*
B: Well, luckily they both made it on the album cover .
Gu: Exactly.
C: Yeah, at least something.
B: *lol*
C: That's very nice of you, that they were allowed on there. But you would have to tell a lot... Wait a sec. You aren't on the album cover.
Ge: Nice that you looked so closely at the album .
C: I haven't bought it yet. But I'll take a look soon... Ok, so let's sum up: You aren't on the album cover, you are hardly visible in the video, and you also don't say much.
Ge: Gustav and I are preparing our exit right now. Next year, it's all over.
T: Exactly.
B: The end.
C: Then you split up. Then you're Tokio, and you Hotel.
B/T/Ge: Right.
B: But we haven't quite figured out yet how we'll split it up exactly.
C: But isn't that a shame? Look, the two [B&T] are so successful... I'd cling to them!
B: But just think how many solo-drummers and solo-bassists there are! You definitely have a chance after that, don't worry!
C: Well, I'm most curious about that. Anyway, we have more interesting questions prepared for you...

Part 2

Collien: The audience asks, stars answer. And since TH are here right now, I'd suggest that TH answer. So. Um... I think Lena also had a question, right?
Lena: Yes.
C: What did you want to know?
L: I heard that Tom will play the piano on the tour?
T: Correct.
L: And I wanted to know how long you have been taking lessons for that.
T: I wish I had taken lessons! To be honest, I more or less learned it by myself, and I'm definitely not the greatest piano player. The only thing I can is...
Ge: Stop belittling yourself all the time .
T: Yeah, I know... That's the only thing I don't master perfectly. But really the only thing, too.
L: So, you will play then?
T: What was that?
L: On the tour, you will play?
T: Um... Yes! Depends on...
B: Oh! Today he's promising it for the first time. Now we can call him out on that.
T: Depends on how much time we have to rehearse. I guess we'll have again, like, one, two days time... and then, we'll see how it works out.
C: Now, don't get all chatty here, because we have a question from our audience here. Would you like to read it?
Girl: Don't you think you'll lose your fans over time because you're only in Europe any more?
C: Well? Tell us!
B: Well, when we're in Europe...
T: ...Germany is in Europe, too.
B: Nah - in the end, dunno, I mean, we try to be everywhere and to do as much as possible, and I can assure you: We sleep only one hour every night any more in order to be everywhere!
Ge: Awww...
B: In the end, we try to go everywhere, and I think we're managing to do it somewhat just. We hope, at least. And, yeah. We just try our best.
C: Well, for that you look well-rested.
B: Why, thank you.
T: That's nice.
C: What is that?? Ah, would you like to read that?
T: By the way, I can see under your skirt from here...
Ge: *LOL*
Girl: In what places do you shave?
B: Who shaves?
T: Where we shave? In all the places where Collien also shaves herself - because I see that from here.
C: So, the legs you mean... Would you like to read this one? Btw, these are not from me, I just wanted to point out.
Girl: Has ever happened something embarrassing to one of you while kissing someone?
B: While kissing? Something embarrassing? What kind of embarrassing things can happen while kissing?
C: Um, braces hooking up, things that fall out of your mouth, dunno...
Ge: Are you talking from experience?
B: No, not to me.
Gu: Me neither. I'm kissing so seldom anyway.
T: Georg hasn't had his kiss yet. So he can't talk much about it.
C: He's still waiting for it. Is somebody interested?
B: Does somebody want to take Georg's virginity today?
C: No one? No one interested? That's not possible... So. The next question, please. Oh.
Girl: Oh no...
C: Do you want me to read?
Girl: Yes.
C: My question to all of TH: Who has the longest?
B: Well, what is this here?! What time is it? [Porn is only aired on German TV in the late evening] To be honest, I'm quite glad that I haven't seen more than the naked upper-body of these two. And I'm not that interested, either. Therefore, I can't...
T: But, concerning the twin-thing: I'm the twin that's better endowed, definitely.
C: Isn't that the same with twins?
B: Thing is, one can actually work it out oneself: I'm a few centimeters taller than Tom, therefore, with me, everything's a few centimeters...
T: But that's what makes it even worse: He's a few centimeters taller, but has the smaller member.
B: But maybe you're always 10 minutes faster in growing, and with me, it all takes 10 minutes longer to grow.
T: That's possible.
B: We'd have to...
Ge: Yours is still growing...?!
C: Let's not go into that...
T: I also hope every day that it stops, because I'm starting to get scared, but... Nah. Ok, next question.
C: Um. Oh God. Would you like to read this one?
B: Well, it can't get worse, can it?
C: No...
Girl: To fans it seems that the band is splitting up into two parties. What do you say to that?
B: Into two parties? Well, I have to say: I'm extremely excluded by... everyone. Actually, I'm the one party, and that's the other party.
C: We'll start our own band! Kick the others out!
B: And we'll dance - as nicely as we did earlier!
C: Yes, as nicely as earlier. We did that very well. Ok, one question for Gustav: How come you took on so much weight?
B: That's a goood question. We would like to know that for once, Gustav. You were so cute once! What happened?
T: Such a sweet little boy you were once...
Gu: How slender I was... exactly. Um...
B: Well, I'd say there just was too much pizza lying around.
C: I guess because you're so much in America, and the food is so fat there!
Gu: Exactly. That's it. Too much America, too much fast-food.
C: See: Come back to Germany again, here the food is better.
T: But, really: He just eats too much.
C: So. My next question is: Dear boys from TH. Your album is available in the Normal, Deluxe, Super Deluxe with DVD and flag and Limited Super Deluxe Edition. Is that correct?
T: I'm not sure if that was correctly labelled, but there's one Fan Edition that actually turned out totally cool IMO, there's also a flag in there, and then there's Deluxe and Standard.
B: Exactly.
C: So no Limited Super Deluxe?
B: Yeah, that's the one with the flag. But there's no Limited Super Deluxe with flag and a Limited Super Deluxe without flag. There's always a flag.
C: But that's what it says here...
T: They are definitely all super...
B: Yeah, that's what you can say about every CD.
T: There's the Super Standard and the Super Deluxe.
C: And totally super deluxe comes with a flag.
B: Exactly.
C: And with that you...?
B: Well, in the booklet, Tom holds a flag. And that's basically the flag that Tom's holding there. He always personally touched every single one of them and then folded them into the CD box.
C: That's so sweet of you...
T: Nah, but the box also turned out awesome. Because it's in such a big box, and that has yet another cover.
C: So, one should best buy all versions?
B: Yeah. All versions in German and all in English.
T: Well, in the box, you also have the Deluxe album. There's not just a flag in there.
B: No. There's also an album in it.
C: I'm confused. Can you also buy the English version in Germany?
B: Yes, I think you can buy every version everywhere. In every country, you can get both versions.
C: I see. So you can also buy the German version in America?
B/T: Yes.
C: And is there also a French or Spanish version?
B: No, I'm already completely over my head with the two things. I have to learn so many texts...
C: Life is not easy for a world-star, eh?
B: I have to say, actually it's really easy for me. When I've sung it once, I have it down. But it's starting to get a lot now. When you also play the old songs on tour, then you'll someday need a tele-prompter.
C: Yeah, that's great, singing with tele-prompter. So, what's up for you in the next weeks?
B: Um, what's up... Tomorrow, we go to "Wetten Dass"...
C: Are you still nervous at that, or are you used to it?
B: No, one is still nervous. We're always nervous.
C: It's not, like: Pah, Wetten dass...
T: I couldn't sleep last night.
C: Because of Viva Live.
T: Yeah, but only because you're hosting.
C: That's totally sweet of you. I also couldn't sleep because I knew that you guys are coming.
T: That came across like a lie now.
C: No, seriously... That was totally serious. But sadly, you already have to go again.
B: Oh no.
T: Shit.
C: But you're welcome to stay, we'll just throw out the other guests.
T: Ok.
C: We'll go to a commercial, let's see if they're still here afterwards, but nonetheless: Give it up for TH!

Emission Xfactor
Inteview

"I feel like Pippo Baudo (Big italian host, usually he hosts Sanremo's festival) when he got to get Duran Duran..."
"I'm walking out of this studio because Tokio Hotel are here... hello guys... hi hi hi hi...
I wanna go pick them... this is crazy... think about that these guys (the fans A/N) are here
since 6.30 am... *talks in English*...they're signing autographs... here they are, come with me, body guards...police, be careful or they'll get hurt...let them sign autographs and they'll
be on stage in a few...I'm letting in the concurrents from the first manche!

So...there are people that are waiting here since 6.30am, girls that came from all Italy,
inside and outside the studio. They are a group that started in Germany and they conquered
all the world. At the age of 20 they sold millions and millions and millions of cds,
they are the idols of the teenagers. A phenomeon of music and style, after two years they're
coming back with their new album Humanoid and with Automatic here they are TOKIO HOTEL.

*performance*

Automatic, their last single... Tokio Hotel.

So, here we are, this is your audience, you moved people from all over Italy. Congrats for
anything you're doing. I know some of you started like this, on a talent show, to realize your music dream. Do you have any suggestions for young people like you that has the same dream...

*waits for the translation*

Francesco: I'm sorry, I don't talk German, the only thing I know is 'ein, zwei, polizei,' I mean...

Bill: (I can barely understand the translator A/N) I think the important thing is remaining ourselves as artists, staying on the stage and of course having a lot of luck... we wish good luck to everyone

Francesco: Our guys are obviously listening somewhere... I've read somewhere that you have no private life but I can't believe this. You must go sometimes to the mountains, eat a pizza, at the disco, just hang out...to the beach... nothing?

Bill: (Ok, they forgot to turn on the translator's mic... A/N) I think he says they can't do this, that the last time they went in a pizzeria was long time ago, but what they get from their fans repays them for every loss.

Francesco: Ok, let's do something nice... while you greet the audience, I'm organizing a nice party at my place, you're all invited... there won't be too many people, I'll talk with your
manager... we'll eat pizza, mozzarella, italian stuff... pasta. I'm inviting you.
Ok, let's thank Tokio Hotel... remember, Humanoid, here it is, it's coming out this friday,
let's support and buy young good music. Bye.
Oh, you're giving them to me? Thank you. Ok, I have TH's drumsticks, who wants them? I'll
think about this...

TH TV - Intimate confessions

___________________________________________________________________________

Article de Bild :

The Drug-confessions of Tokio Hotel Bill and Tom. Hardcore drinking, smoking pot and taking pills. Shocking statement by Tokio Hotel brothers Bill and Tom. Already at the age of 13 Bill and Tom consumed drugs and alcohol.

That is no rolemodel character. The Tokio Hotel twins confess: "It has happened that we, out of boredom, drank, smoked pot and took pills", says guitarplayer Tom Kaulitz in a double interview with his brother Bill.

In the magazine Gala, the 2 20year olds said: "we have also done some experimenting, and started pretty young with that". Already when they were 13 both Magdeburgers received drugs and alcohol through older friends.

Singer Bill says that these experiences are in the past. "right now that is over"! His brother Tom describes the situation: "We only go out to party very seldom , but when we do, we really party!

That statements like these are not a good example to younger/ underage fans do not impress the twins. They don't have a particular target group: "Tokio Hotel can be heard by a 15 year old just as well as by their 40 year old mom."

And also in the case of Love Tom does not take things seriously: "I do not want to commit and have as much fun as possible.."

___________________________________________________________________________

Gala.de: “As much fun as possible”
Even if they don't take drugs anymore: Bill and Tom Kaulitz from “Tokio Hotel” still love to party

A target group? “We don't have one! A 15 year old can listen to Tokio Hotel as well like a 40 year old mother”, Bill and Tom Kaulitz, Singer and guitarist of the, at the moment, worldwide most successful German Teenie-Band, Tokio Hotel, accentuate. The best conditions to sell their new album. With Gala the twins spoke about colorful pills, the dark side of fame – and hair...

How much do you feel the pressure of success?
Bill: It's there. But we're successful since almost 5 years. The fate, to end as an one-hit-wonder doesn't threaten us anymore. It's relaxing.

But your fan base consists of Teenagers. And they're turning their back on something very quickly...
Tom: Our aim is to keep the Fans that we have. And we succeeded in doing so. Furthermore we aren't targeting our music to a special audience. A 15 year old can listen to “Tokio Hotel” as well as a 40 year old mother, as long as they have a good taste in music!

Bill, after a few weeks you changed your hairstyle...
Bill: ...and it's annoying that every time I do something, people are making a big fuss about it. I like to experiment and I didn't like the dreadlocks anymore. It took them almost a day to dry, after washing them. Super annoying!
Tom: Hair is a quirk of Bill. If I would not interfere, he would have dyed his hair platinum blond and cut it army-style...

Are you scared that someday you won't be able to withstand the pressure of the Showbiz anymore?
Bill: The danger is present and I can comprehend those wicked “falls” of other Stars. But Tom and I have a decisive advantage: We have us and the band. When I imagine, that I would have to stand all of this alone, then I wouldn't know if I could come out of this without some permanent damage to myself and where I would be today...

What experiences do you have with drugs?
Tom: Even we experimented and started with it at a very young age. Already at age 13 we had older friends with whom we hung out. There were some times where we drank a lot, smoked pot and smashed some pills out of boredom.
Bill: But it's in the past now! You need a lot of self-discipline to put 100% in your performance on stage and to not collapse under all this stress.
Tom: We party very rarely, but when we do then it get's pretty wild!

You're twins. Are you really that close to each other?
Bill: I would never get the idea to plan something without Tom. We're never separated longer than two days. And even this is hell for me. We're like one person, we don't even need to talk to each other to know what the other is thinking right now. Tom and I will live together our whole life.

Tell us the truth: Sometimes even you get on your nerves, not?
Bill: Sure, it happens – but very rarely. When we fight, then we do it right: We swear and scream at each other. Then they all run for cover and leave the room. We know exactly which buttons we have to push, so that the situation escalates.
Tom: That's right, we irritate each other so much, until we want to punch the other in the face. And also do it.

“Tokio Hotel” is loved and hated: How do you handle hostility?
Tom: When somebody insults me, I insult him too. I get provoked easily. It was always like this, we never fit in – that's why a lot of people didn't like us. Already at school Bill and I had girlfriends which were older than us. I had a new one every day and Bill tried monogamy. It provokes other guys and makes them jealous. And I love it!

Bill, everybody always claims that you're gay...
Bill: I had to deal with this topic already permanently at school. Make-Up and a complex hairstyle on a boy – sure that a lot of people jump to conclusions. But hey, I'm not gay and if I were then I wouldn't have a problem to admit it...

Is there still no time for a girlfriend in your life?
Bill: No, because I want to love. But it just didn't happen yet.
Tom: And I don't want to settle down, I want to have as much fun as possible. There are too many beautiful girls out there. But maybe it's also because I've never been in love before.

What's the most annoying thing that comes with your celebrity status?
Bill: I'm missing spontaneity. I can't just simply go out to the cinema or to eat some ice-cream. Everything has to be planned for weeks. A life according to script. Sure, you get used to it after some time. But there are still some moments where I miss my former, completely normal, life.
Tom: There are few times, where we can just hang out a whole week. The business is constantly on the run. That's why, even when we're on vacation, we never let our thoughts drift away. Bill and I spent 2 weeks on the Maldives and it was cool to laze on the beach. But in my head I was still thinking permanently about work. There isn't a day where we don't deal with “Tokio Hotel”.
Bill: All in all, it's still completely OK like this. “Tokio Hotel” isn't a job, it's our life. And indeed a damn wicked life.

Tokio Hotel has come to Madrid to promote their new album, Humanoid, in person to the Spanish media. And there, seated with the guys in a hotel room, was also los40.com.

About the creation of their album, they declared, "We were looking to create something different, and for that we took a year off in order to concentrate on writing and recording. It's the first time since we recorded our first album that we have been able to proceed calmly and do things a bit at a time." Nevertheless, they say that this year of rest made them realize that they can never return to their normal lives as they knew them: "Now there's no difference between Tokio Hotel and our private lives."

The band has also spoken about new bands that they have inspired in look and music, like Cinema Bizarre: "When we started, we sent our demo to more than ten record companies, and they all rejected them. Nevertheless, when we became famous every company wanted to have their own Tokio Hotel. We wish the best to these bands, and we hope that they choose their style based on what they like, and not that which the label imposes on them."

Another topic that they've addressed is the supposed rivalry between the fans of the band and those of the Jonas Brothers: "We don't have anything in common with them musically, nor in terms of attitude, so there isn't really any possible rivalry, that is an invention of the media. In fact, we have met the Jonas Brothers on one occasion, and they seemed like really nice guys."

As for the video clip of their new song Automatic, which was shot recently, they revealed that its shooting was a total odyssey: "It was the most ostentatious video that we've made. We had to spend five days in South Africa, dying of cold, without telephone and sleeping in huts."

Finally, the randy note that Bill Kaulitz put at the end of the press conference, when he was asked about his new hairstyle change: "At the time I designed my hairstyle, I looked at Georg's pubic hair," to which Georg responded: "Then you'll be bald, kid."

Humanoid will go on sale in our country on October 6.

20minutos.es

Tokio Hotel is not what they once were. After almost a year away, the German band headed by the twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz have returned with an album in their arms, <i>Humanoid</i> (Universal), that will go on sale on October 5 all over the world, save the U.S., that will release it a day later.

And in this time their sound has changed, now borrowing from electronic influences, but also their look. A large crest now on the head of the singer of the group, who walks as though he's on top of very high heels. His brother has gone from sporting dreadlocks to black braids.

Together with Georg and Gustav, bassist and drummer of the group, this Monday in a central hotel in Madrid they addressed various Spanish media, with whom they spoke about their new work and their personal life. In a relaxed atmosphere and one full of jokes, the guys of Tokio HOtel answered the questions of various users of 20minutes.es.

What's the new album, Humanoid, like?
Bill: We distances ourselves from public life for a bit during the year in order to record, and from that came 16 songs. The sound is a lot more electronic, we wanted something more than a base and drum foundation, but the guitars are still there. We and our producers were very clear that we wanted to try something new, for example the synthesizers.

Is it true that you were influenced by science fiction?
Bill: We haven't read much about that and, because of that, it wasn't something that we had in mind when we were making the album. But we realized afterwards that, effectively, Humanoid is a lot like science fiction.

Do you have dates for the tour? Will you come to Spain?
Tom: It will begin in 2010, but that could include up to the month of April! (laughs) But no, we still don't have dates for Spain.

Bill's new look is, shall we say, odd. What motivated you to change so suddenly? (Andrea, 20minutos.es user)
Bill: I don't have any kind of strategy, it's more a personal question. We dress ourselves how we want at any given moment, and hopefully it appeals to our fans, but it also isn't anything crucial. It's about feeling good about yourself.

Tom: That's what Gustav says, that he always feels too comfortable. (laughs)

Are you very interested in fashion?
Bill: Since we were about seven or eight, we had already begun to develop our own styles. I didn't have much money, so I quickly began to make my own clothing with fabric that I acquired. Today I'm still very interested in that world.

Tom: It's because Bill started playing in the garbage very early... and there he began to dress himself very distinctly. (laughs)

The subject of paparazzi, does it have a good side? (Gala&amp;Alba, 20minutos.es users)
Bill: It's hard to go out in the street, yes, but we assume that we can't go out alone and without bodyguards, and that they're going to take photos of us.

Tom: And we don't have much time for our private lives, and for that the little time that we do have we use in order to dedicate ourselves to our family and our friends.

What is the most incredible lie that a group has said on the Internet?
Bill: The worst that I have read is that I had committed suicide in a hotel room.

Tom: Or that I had shaved my pubic hair...

Georg: (in Spanish) Vello publico? (laughs)

Many of your fans are interested in your personal situation. Are your love songs based on your own experience? What have you done for love?
Bill: Sadly there isn't much autobiography in our songs when we talk about love. (laughs) It's not that love isn't something that's important to us, but for us it's not easy to find it. We tend to base it on friendship, on something that's important to us or also we speak of nostalgia, of the desire to find it.

Georg: I will say that it's true for those three, because I have found it...I have done too many things for love.

Gustav: Well for love I have invited to eat at McDonalds. But going by car, of course... (laughs)

If Tokio Hotel were other guys and you were normal guys, would you be fans of the band? (Lizzie, 20minutos.es user)
All: Yes, of course.

Bill: We don't want to sound pretentious, but it's that we make music that we like, and that we would like to listen to.

What song would you cover? With whom would you not step on stage?
Tom: We're not going to make many covers, although once we had a project...

Bill: I'll make the list, and then I'll give it to you. (laughs)

What would you say to those people that at first didn't believe that you would become this famous all over the world? (Rita, 20minutes.es user)
Tom: We send them a greeting from here. (laughs) The truth is that we've had a lot of luck, because we're form a small city in Germany in which there weren't record labels or anything. We only tried to be in the right place at the right time and, of course, to be all over.

Bill: When we were in school, some teachers or classmates didn't believe that we really wanted to be singers and that we would be able to do it. Everything that has happened is a confirmation that it has. And to meet any of them now is very nice....

BIO. Tokio Hotel is a German quarted headed by the twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz. They have sold more than six million albums during their career and they have given concerts in stadiums all over Europe. The group was formed in 2001 and have received various awards (MTV, VMA).

Tokio Hotel are bringing their fans inside the studio once again with another exclusive, behind-the-scenes clip provided to MTV News. In the video, the pop-rockers are working on Humanoid, due October 6.

Speaking from the Los Angeles studio where they recorded the Scream follow-up, lead singer Bill Kaulitz discusses having to sing in German and English. "They have to do this super complicated thing: change the session ... from German to English," he explained. "Yes, constant switches. I believe no other singer has to remember so many different lyrics like I do. It's only the third album, and I already have 10,000 songs."

Meanwhile, Tom Kaulitz talks about the different dynamics he and brother Bill have in their voices, saying one thing separates them: "I have more sex in my voice," Tom explained. "Actually, the decision [for Bill to be the lead singer] was because of the securities. The securities asked us for it, because if I sing, there would be an escalation at each show. To calm things down, we went with Bill."

Tom also discussed how his brother has to work to remember the songs they are recording for when they hit the road. "He needs to remember everything for the tour. I actually did all of the recordings up to now," he said. "He needs to learn everything for our tour, which is why we rented this studio. We'll check it out, and hopefully he'll manage the upcoming albums without me."

He also talked about the time the guys in the band tried out different roles. "Bill was playing bass, because it's the easiest," Tom recalled. "He only had to play a few tones. Yes, I [played the drums. Drummer Gustav Schäfer], he sang, and [bassist] Georg [Listing] played the guitar. That was wicked. I think we performed [the Scream track] 'Monsoon,' didn't we?

"[Gustav turned it into hardcore metal] to cover [the fact] that he can't sing," Tom continued. "I was perfect. Like a clockwork. But the others messed it up."

Alessandro Cattelan (male host): Hello! Hello! Hello!
Valentina Correani (female host): Tokio Hotel! Cattelan, you're already trying to hook up with the translator?! So...
Alessandro: They haven't added a new member: this is Inka, who is going to translate questions and answers for us.
Valentina: Sprechen Sie Deutsch? [Do you speak German?]
Bill: Yes, obviously. Yes.
Valentina: I don't.
Bill: Ciao a tutti! [Hello everybody]
Gustav: Ciao Roma!
Valentina. So, on October 2nd Tokio Hotel will release their new album, both in German and in English. Why an album in two languages?
Bill: Ehm. Actually we haven't even tought about it. [laughs] We found it natural to record the album in two languages, both in German and in English, so... in two languages.
Alessandro: And think that people star screaming since she started translating... It just took them to start talking for making the people here go crazy. It's long since they've been on stage. What have they done this last year?
Bill: Actually we were on tour all last year and we did a lot of performances. Then we wrote a lot for the new album: we wrote songs, produced and recorded for a long time. Now the production is finished and the album is ready.
Alessandro: It was only work, then. No holidays?
Bill: Not at all, I have to say. We haven't...
Tom (by inca): ...We haven't had time, but next time we'll come to Italy on holiday.
Alessandro: I saw some photos of them at the seaside. Bahamas, Seychelles...? Could it be a place of this kind? A beautiful place by the sea...?
Bill: Oh, to the Maldives, yes! We spent two weeks at the Maldives. Tom, we forgot about that! [laughs]
Alessandro: Ah, the Maldives, the Maldives!
Valentina: "Automatic" is the title of the new album, "Humanoid" the title of the single. You are inspired by science-fiction...
[Inka translate "you are inspired by fantasy" instead of "science fiction"]
Bill: "Humanoid" is the leitmotiv of the whole album. It's really good and it represents almost all the songs... all the album. So it's called "Humanoid".
Valentina: A lot of science-fiction, I meant. Ale, you're closer.
Alessandro: Well, it's a conversation among deaf-mutes. They're screaming so much... We're struggling to undestand them. The important thing is that Tokio Hotel are going to perform again on this stage in a while and then you'll be able to yell as much as you want. Thank you very much. We'll see you in a while.
Bill: Grazie mille!
Tom: Grazie!
Alessandro: They still have music to play for us.

Bill says that the new album is a bit more electronic but there are still their typical guitar sounds. There were many many songs, so many that they had to leave some out of the album. It's nice that they had such a warm welcome from the italian fans, they don't take that for granted but they consider it like an award for the work they have done till now.

MB: What does it mean for you to be famous?
TH: It has their disadvantages of course, but it remains our dream! Each one of us has their own personal bond with different songs, so there's not only one source of inspiration for the songs, but there are more of them.

MB: Did you ever get inspired by something for your look?
TH: We grew up musically but we don't have a inspiration.

MB: After becoming famous did you remain in touch with your friends?
TH: Yes, we are still friends with people we know from school, but it's not easy to make new friends, we don't have the time.

MB: And now the question everyone want to make, what kind of girls you like?
TH: All.

MB: Have you ever fight for the love of a girl?
TH: It's impossible for a girl to come between us, it never happened!!

MB: What's gonna be your next single?
TH: We don't know yet.

MB: Were there obstacles in your career?
TH: We have new obstacles to climb every day, the important thing is to stay together, and without Tom we'd never be where we are today :)

MB: How was your first concert and what did you feel?
TH: It was just me and Tom, we were at some wedding and we were really nervous!

MB: Do you want to give some advice/teach something to the fans?
TH: We don't want to teach anyone...

The last piece of freedom

Twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz from the band Tokio Hotel have been among Germany&rsquo;s most successful musicians for years. During the interview they talk about their missing personal life, their new single and Angela Merkel.

Two and half years have passed since your last record. Did the break do you well?
Bill: We actually didn&rsquo;t have a holiday, [we] toured through North America and tweaked the album for almost a year. However, we deliberately tried to keep a low profile for a bit over here.

How come?
Bill: In the end I couldn&rsquo;t see my own mug and hear my own name anymore. I thought &ldquo; Please people, just write about someone else&rdquo;. I wanted some peace and quiet and concentrate on making music.

What is actually still left of your personal life?
Bill: Nothing.

Oh, is that really so?
Bill: It&rsquo;s like that. We don&rsquo;t have a personal life in that sense. To just go for an ice-cream with the family &ndash; that&rsquo;s not possible. The only moment of the day when we&rsquo;re on our own is in the car. That&rsquo;s why we wanted to get our driver&rsquo;s licences so bad. [To have] Our own car is the last piece of freedom that&rsquo;s left for us.

That sounds a little sad though, along the lines of &ldquo; We&rsquo;re ourselves in the car only&rdquo;.

Bill: Yes, that&rsquo;s what it&rsquo;s [like] though. It only really became clear to us that we&rsquo;ve given up everything this year while we weren&rsquo;t on tour but only in the studio. However, despite that we&rsquo;d always make the same decision again. Both just isn&rsquo;t possible at the level we&rsquo;re at now. One has to accept that. One also gets a lot in return. Sometimes I&rsquo;m standing in the studio, singing and thinking &quot;Awesome, and you even get paid for that&quot;. I&rsquo;m totally happy about that. I don&rsquo;t have to do anything I don&rsquo;t feel like doing.

How do you spend your time off?
Bill: Actually working. We always have to laugh when we read &ldquo; The machinery of Tokio Hotel&rdquo;. All of that is bullshit. We&rsquo;ve got our team, but Tom and I do everything ourselves basically. The people that are our tools in a way were put together by us. However, it&rsquo;s our band. Tom and I founded Tokio Hotel and I don&rsquo;t want to leave decisions about the band to anyone else.

The new single is called &ldquo;Automatic&ldquo;. What is the song about?
Bill: This word really gets used constantly, thousands of things in life happen automatically. Except for love. That mustn&rsquo;t be automatic.

Whereas many relationships only run on autopilot as well.
Tom: Yes. I can&rsquo;t imagine being together with one person for so long. I&rsquo;ve got an issue with long relationships anyway and I think it&rsquo;s extremely important that one stays interesting for the other one and to also always find the other person interesting. I couldn&rsquo;t ever imagine [settling down and] living with one woman.

Really not?
Bill: I could. If I&rsquo;m in love, I don&rsquo;t care about anything. Then I&rsquo;ll pack my bag and move in somewhere else immediately.
Tom: Forget it, Bill. We&rsquo;ll live together for the rest of our lives.
Bill: Yes, but then we&rsquo;ll have to build a sliding door in the middle of the apartment. I&rsquo;ll live with my girlfriend on one side and you&rsquo;ll live on the other.

So you&rsquo;re sharing a house?
Bill: Yes. I couldn&rsquo;t imagine it ever being any other way. We could never separate. Each one of us has got their own bathroom and bedroom but other than that we&rsquo;re together all day long.

Bill, are you in love at the moment?

Bill: No, even though I very much wish to be. I feel really awkward to always have to give the same answer. However, there isn&rsquo;t anyone at the moment. I&rsquo;d really like to be in love. However, it&rsquo;s probably the last thing that will happen in my life.

Why do you believe that?
Bill: Many people put on an act for me when they meet me. Then they just rattle off words like a script. However, I can&rsquo;t expect people to seriously get involved with me. Whenever I go anywhere they see Bill Kaulitz. Most of them immediately have dollar signs in their eyes and want to offer something to me, along the lines of &ldquo;I&rsquo;m a fashion designer, would you wear my shirt once?&rdquo;. That&rsquo;s so disgusting!
Tom: We haven&rsquo;t made one new friend over the past four years. Firstly, one can&rsquo;t trust people as quickly anymore, secondly, everything is always so cursory and quick that one mostly stays on the surface.
Bill: It&rsquo;s very rare that I get to meet normal people. It&rsquo;s great when I meet someone who lived in the mountains without a TV for ten years and says &ldquo;Tokio Hotel? Never heard of it&rdquo;. Then I always think &ldquo;Yes! Thanks&ldquo;.

Bill, many girls probably also think that you aren&rsquo;t interested in them but in guys. Is that annoying?
Bill: Nah, it&rsquo;s not annoying. That&rsquo;s already been with me my whole life long anyway. It also wasn&rsquo;t any different even back in school.
Tom: While girls rarely thought that Bill is gay - he was never short of offers - it was more like the guys thinking he&rsquo;s gay.
Bill: And many guys felt dissed when I got a woman and they didn&rsquo;t. Because I&rsquo;d be just so effeminate. That has always been a big problem.

Would men stand a chance with you?
Bill: Nah, I&rsquo;m committed to women. I&rsquo;ve never had anything with guys, I&rsquo;ve never gathered any experiences with men...

...and you also don&rsquo;t want to catch up with that?
Bill: Well, so far I haven&rsquo;t discovered an interest in that direction. *laughs*

By now you&rsquo;re also very successful in the USA. Are you being perceived differently there than in Germany?
Bill: Yes, abroad the music came first followed by all the other matters. In Germany it was the other way around. We&rsquo;re a tabloid matter there. Elsewhere people also go on about the singer of Tokio Hotel looking like a faggot, but they listen to our songs first at least.

Are you worried that it might not run as smoothly some day?
Bill: Hmm. No matter what happens, we&rsquo;ve hung on for a really long time and proved a lot. Many saw us as a One Hit Wonder back in the day and they were wrong. However, I also think there are ups and downs. There have been moments when it went down a bit. It&rsquo;s possible that &ldquo;Humanoid&rdquo; doesn&rsquo;t work out as a record now but in that case one just makes the next one. I wouldn&rsquo;t give up so easily.

What are you doing with all that money?

Bill: He who wants to get really rich has to become a football player or racing driver. They&rsquo;re making real dosh. There&rsquo;s lots of exaggeration in the music business. Speculations about how much we&rsquo;re apparently earning are pretty wild. I only get a tiny fraction of the 30 Euros that a concert ticket costs. After all we&rsquo;ve also got expenses. We&rsquo;ve just shot a video in South Africa that we&rsquo;re financing ourselves for example. We&rsquo;re also paying all of our team. Our expenses are extreme.
Tom: Bill and I haven&rsquo;t bought a house, no property and no yacht yet. We live in rented accommodation.

Soon there will be the first Bundestag election. Are you interested in politics?
Bill: We&rsquo;re interested to the usual extent, I&rsquo;d say. We don&rsquo;t get to follow it exceedingly; we&rsquo;re not indifferent toward politics though.

Do you like Angela Merkel?
Bill: I don&rsquo;t want to influence people too much but yes, I think Angela Merkel is good. So far she&rsquo;s doing really well. Unlike others she&rsquo;s also extremely likeable. She comes across like a caring mum.
